Jean-Jacques Rousseau’s Chateau<\/h2>\n
This place was once the home of Jean-Jacques Rousseau, one of France\u2019s most famous philosophers. Rousseau, who loved nature, lived here from 1764 until he died in 1778. His gardens were opened as a public park in 1827.<\/p>\n
Musee de l’Ancien Palais<\/h2>\n
Located on Place Stanislas, this museum used to be the home of Prince Eugene of Savoy, one of Napoleon\u2019s generals. It was later bought by the French state and turned into an art museum.<\/p>\n
Mus\u00e9e Historique et Artificiel des Pays du Jura<\/h2>\n
This open-air museum consists of 11 historical buildings including a farmhouse, a brewery, a distillery, a blacksmith, a cabinet maker and a print shop.<\/p>\n
